I drive down to San Francisco to be an exhibitor at the American Library Association conference. Immediately after setting up the booth, I met up with friends and we went to the oprah, “Marriage of Figaro”. What fun!
I had one day in between setting up the booth and greeting librarians from all across the country, so my friends and I went to wine country. We only visited two wineries. Duckhorn winery was amaizing. We stayed there for a few hours. Luckily I was designated driver so they helped me finish my samples. A wonderful day, a perfect day before Four days of meeting lots of people at the ALA conference. Thank you Nancy, Dee Anne and Pam! All three are financial supporters for “Children of the Civil Rights”.
At ALA, I made some great contacts. Once the film is finalized and ready for its National Release in January, all of this prep work will be done and we’ll be sitting on go!
